Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks was an American actor, most famous for her portrayal of Joan Holloway. She played the character for seven seasons on AMC's time-travel drama Mad Men from 2007-2015. The role she played in the series has earned her critical praise and six Emmy award nominations in the category for best supporting actress. From her career to now, which has spanned over 20 years, she's gained recognition for her roles as a character in the legal thriller Kevin Hill comedy series Another Period crime drama the series Tin Star and comedy-crime series Good Girls. She is known for her appearance as a character in Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River The Neon Demon The Strangers: Prey at Night Egg and American Woman. Additionally, she's lent her voice to animated films like From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 and Scoob!. The first time she was a fashion model, and went on to be a model for several years prior to making her debut on television in the 1999 collection Undressed. Her first significant role was in the comedy drama series Beggars and Choosers following which she was also recognized for her role in the cult hit Firefly. Esquire magazine voted her as the most beautiful woman in America as well as the sexiest woman across the globe in 2010.
