Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney is an American-Lebanese barrister, human rights advocate and philanthropist. She was born Amal Ramzi Amuddin. She graduated from Oxford University and New York University School of Law her extensive and impressive career in the fields of human rights and international law has won her international recognition. The most notable clients she has worked with are several nations, such as Armenia which is seeking to force the Turkish government to recognize Armenia's rights and recognize the Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney was engaged in 2014 and later was married in 2015 to American actor George Clooney. She instantly became a household name. The actress was widely known and admired for representing clients with success and with skill within the legal profession years before. It is her job to represent multinational corporations in court proceedings and negotiations about government regulation, and also social justice or human rights. Since 2015 she served as a barrister in British courts at Doughty Street Chambers.
