Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian TV presenter and actress. Her most well-known work is the lead in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. The sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu. She began her career in showbiz early. Her roles included lead characters in TV dramas as young when she was just 16. The audience was impressed by her portrayal of Der Tunnel. This paved the way for more memorable role roles like Adolf's secretariat Traudl Junge. Additional Oscar nominated films featuring the famous diva are The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra worked on several notable projects both at home and abroad over the past few years. This includes the British biographical Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time and as French historic Miniseries Napoleon. Additionally, she was part of both the Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
